Tumor Biology, launched in 1980 (formerly published as Oncodevelopmental Biology and Medicine), is a peer reviewed, Open Access journal publishing experimental and clinical cancer research. Tumor Biology covers all aspects of tumor markers, molecular biomarkers, tumor targeting, and mechanisms of tumor development and progression. Tumor Biology (also Tumour Biology) is a bimonthly peer-reviewed open access medical journal covering clinical and experimental oncology. It was established in 1980 as Oncodevelopmental Biology and Medicine, obtaining its current name in 1984.
Tumor biology; the driver of drug development 2 – day course This course will give you a structured overview of the present understanding of tumor biology, the biological mechanisms underlying tumor initiation, growth and progression, and of recent and emerging cancer drugs. Purpose and goal The two main goals are to: drugs spring” Strategy: Through basic and translational research in the area of cancer biology and computational science we aim to improve systems understanding and identify novel interventions. We emphasize multidisciplinary competence and collaboration between researchers, clinicians and patients to stimulate the necessary synergy for improved cancer care. Research at the Department of Microbiology, Tumor and Cell Biology (MTC) focuses on immunology, infection biology and cell and tumor biology.

Merlin (Moesin-ezrin-radixin-like protein, also known as schwannomin) is a tumor suppressor protein encoded by the neurofibromatosis type 2 gene NF2. Loss of function mutations or deletions in NF2 cause neurofibromatosis type 2 (NF2), a multiple tumor forming disease of the nervous system.
